Rear Admiral Brian Adams served in the RAN from 1968 to 2005. He holds a bachelors degree in Arts and a masters degree in Business Administration. In the rank of Rear Admiral he was the Deputy Chief of Navy from 2000 to 2002 and Head of the Defence Personnel Executive from 2002 to 2005. In 1997 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for services to Australian Defence Force warfare capability development. The Governor General in Council appointed RADM Adams to the Tribunal for a period of 5 years commencing on 1 August 2006.
