About the DFRT

The functions of the Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal (DFRT) are set out in Section 58F to 58Y of the Defence Act 1903.

The Tribunal inquires into and determines pay and pay related allowances for the Regular and Reserve members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The three members of the Tribunal are:

• The Honourable Senior Deputy President R N Cartwright, President
• Rear Admiral B L Adams, AO, Member
• The Honourable Patricia Leary, Member

The three members of the Secretariat are:

• Mr Chris J Wallace, Secretary
• Mr Jason Window, Adviser
